Finance Minister, Pravin Gordhan, has delivered the 2012/13 National Budget to Parliament on 22 February 2012 in Cape Town. As in the past few years, SANGONeT presents you with comments and perspectives of various South African civil society organisations in response to the budget

As in the past few years, SANGONeT presents you with comments and perspectives of various South African civil society organisations in response to the budget. The comments focus on specific issues in the National Budget relevant to the organisations’ core work and areas of interest and/or their observations about the 2012/13 National Budget in general. Issues covered in these contributions range from key development priorities such as education, governance, gender, health and economic justice and poverty, among others.
