In his paper for the African Economic Research Consortium policy brief, Olu Ajakaiye, provides conclusions emerging from an annual African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) seminar in which African researchers and policy makers discussed topical evidence-based policy issues regarding governance and pro-poor growth in Africa.
