- Habitat Jam (1-3 Dec 05)
The Habitat Jam is a global online discussion that will take place from 1-3 December ’05. This event is co-hosted by the UN-Habitat and the Canadian Government, with the aim of giving urban dwellers throughout the world the opportunity to talk about their dreams and aspirations for their cities. Topics to be covered include, access to water, environmental sustainability, safety and security, finance and governance and slum dwellers. To register for the discussion, click here.
- GenderLinks Cyber Dialogues (24 Nov – 9 Dec 05)
Genderlinks (GL) invites you to join the 16 Days of cyber dialogues from 24 November to the 9 December. The cyber dialogues is one of the strategies GL is using in the 16 Days of No Violence Against Women and Children campaign. Last year Gender Links piloted the cyber dialogues in South Africa and had people chatting across the country. This year the cyber dialogues will have people chatting across borders.
