Combining Quantitative and Qualitative Approaches to Understanding Poverty Dynamics is a paper that draws from ongoing research that aims to genuinely combine qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to understand poverty dynamics in Uganda.
The paper provides a detailed outline of the methodological approach used, highlighting, for example, some of the sampling and tracing issues, and further practical issues that need to be considered. Some examples/techniques used to assist in the illustration of understanding issues of poverty dynamics are also provided.
