Angola to Ratify Paris Climate Agreement

Angolan Environment Minister, Fátima Jardim, assured the United Nations Headquarters the country’s availability to ratify Paris Climate Agreement approved by 195 countries last December.
The leadership of Angola, in its capacity as chair of the Least Developed Countries, is decisive to ensure negotiation on Climate agreement.
Under the Climate agreement, all countries in the world are required to adopt measures to keep global temperature rise below 2 degrees Celsius from the pre-industrial times and making effort to maintain it less than 1.5 ° C.
