Although the article is origanally targetted at an Indonesian audience, it is still very relevant for NGOs in South Africa and the rest of the African continent. In his article on corporate social responsibility (CSR), B. Herry-Priyono, interrogates the overall definition of CSR arguing that, “To let the corporate sector solely define the meaning of CSR is like asking an eye to make a critical inspection of itself.”
