HIV Denial in the Internet Era

In a paper published by PLoS Medicine, Steven Novella and Tara Smith, highlight the challenges the Internet can pose in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The authors argue that this medium has made it easier for HIV denialists to spread their views, stating that, “The Internet has served as a fertile and un-refereed medium to spread these denialist beliefs.”
