Madonsela apologises to the Desmond and Leah Tutu Peace Foundation for the temporary disruption during the Fifth Annual Desmond Tutu Peace Lecture.

Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, has apologised to the Desmond and Leah Tutu Peace Foundation for the temporary disruption during the Fifth Annual Desmond Tutu Peace Lecture at the University of the Western Cape.

"Firstly I want to apologise on behalf of the public protector‘s office that the drama that started a few weeks ago with regard to our work has been brought here,” explains Madonsela.

Madonsela adds that: “The young people are following up on an investigation, they are not the complainants, they only wrote to me about three weeks ago. I do apologise that they decided to bring the drama here."
