Township Patterns is a unique social enterprise in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) producing eco-friendly handmade bags. The range is made by fair trade women’s cooperatives in the townships in South Africa. Each item sold brings economic improvement and opportunity for sustainable development to the women and their communities. Township Patterns is calling for applications for Conflict Resolution Facilitator Training, based in Cape Town.
The person is expected to be a motivated person with strong interest for conflict resolution and community development. S/he should have ability to speak fluently isiXhosa and Afrikaans.
Township NPO wishes to partner with individuals or organisations that have interest in conflict resolution. With help from Brian Ganson – Expert in this topic, we have designed a facilitator’s guide in conflict resolution which can be used in any environment and any conflict situation.
By joining our team, you will be trained in conflict resolution, get an opportunity to teach others with a pilot project and there after graduate as conflict resolution facilitator. Individuals can then replicate the model and make use of it in their own different environments.

- You will get an opportunity to facilitate some workshops in your own language;
- Be certified as a conflict resolution facilitator.
