Krugersdorp Child Welfare is a registered welfare organisation. The Organisation renders statutory services and community development projects in Krugersdorp and Munsieville that promote the wellbeing and protection of children.
 
Krugersdorp Child Welfare seeks to appoint a Social Auxiliary Worker to be based in Gauteng.
 
This is a full-time position.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Render early intervention and prevention services
  • Recruit, screen and train prospective temporary and foster care parents
  • Render foster care supervision services
  • Implement child protection, parenting, life skills and awareness programmes
  • Arrange school holiday programmes
  • Write reports

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Social Auxiliary Work (Experience will be an advantage)
  • Registered with the SACSSP. Proof to be provided
  • Valid Code 8 driver's licence and driving competence. Driving skills to be tested during the interview
  • Ability to understand, speak and write English (Setswana/Afrikaans will be an advantage)
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and internet) Computer skills to be tested during the interview
  • Administrative skills
  • Ability to work in a team, environment
