The Anova Health Institute undertakes ground-breaking work in the field of HIV/AIDS through diverse areas of expertise, including technical assistance and research. Anova works to improve the range and quality of public health services.

With its extensive experience in the implementation of HIV programmes, Anova is well known for its flagship efforts in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) as well as its work in TB and HIV care and treatment including paediatric, adolescent and adult care. Anova's ability to tailor innovative HIV responses is exemplified by its pioneering work in the fields of men who have sex with men (MSM), mental health, medical male circumcision (MMC) and working with the media.

Anova is a trusted partner of national and local health departments in a number of regions across the country where it works to support and improve health care capacity through training, lending expertise and improving health infrastructure and supporting health technology expansion.

Anova Health Institute seeks to appoint a seasoned Human Resources (HR) Business Partner to assist with Human Capital functions through the execution of processes, practices and initiatives. Assist with the development and implementation of policies relating to the effective use of personnel within the organization, accordingly as directed by the executives.
 
Requirements:

  • HR Management Degree or other degree;
  • Minimum of five to eight years HR Generalist experience;
  • Minimum of three years Specialist experience;
  • Knowledge and experience working with BCEA, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act and Labour Law. Computer Literacy and proficiency in MS Office. Experience within HR with particular focus on Business Capability Development, Talent Management and Performance Management is required.
