SA's CDM Project Promotes Energy Efficient Adaptation

South Africa's first internationally registered Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project, which was developed by the NGO SouthSouthNorth SSN, is promoting the potential for the energy-efficient adaptation of all South African low-cost housing.  

The Kuyasa Project has already adapted ten pilot houses, thereby ensuring the effectiveness of efficiency measuring systems, and the retrofitting of the remaining 2 300 houses has started.
