DAG seeks to appoint an Urban Researcher - Participatory Planner/Urban Designer/Architect, based in Cape Town.

Development Action Group: HR Administrator

The Development Action Group (DAG) is a NGO that works to fight poverty and promote integrated urban environments. DAG is currently integrating its traditional role of facilitating access to affordable housing and informal settlement upgrading into a seven-year programme framework – Vision 2020.   

The DAG seeks to appoint a diligent and experienced Human Resources (HR) Administrator to provide administrative support to the Management Committee and Programme Coordinators. The position is based in Capes Town.

Responsibilities:

Abalimi: Finance and Administration Manager

Abalimi is an urban agriculture and environmental action association operating in the socio-economically neglected townships of Khayelitsha, Nyanga and surrounding areas on the Cape Flats near Cape Town.

Abalimi seeks to appoint a Finance and Administration Manager, based in Philippi, Cape Town.

The person will report to the Management/Director Team and Board. The Manager is responsible for Accountant, Administrator and any contractor or volunteer in finance and administration department.

The Development Action Group (DAG) is a NGO that works to fight poverty and promote integrated urban environments. The DAG Executive Director is actively seeks to appoint a Personal Assistant to support her in carrying out a range of administrative, logistical, strategic and, public relations/media responsibilities. This position is based in Cape Town.

The Equal Opportunity Foundation (EOF) is an independent, nonprofit grant making agency, operating in all nine provinces. The EOF funds projects that are focused on uplifting the standards of living of the historically disadvantaged communities mainly targeting poverty pockets in both rural and urban areas.

The foundation's grant making programme seeks to reduce unemployment, alleviate poverty and capacitate both project participants and interested community members. The approach is to ensure sustainability of the projects by focusing on management and relevant skills training.
