The Benefits of Ethical Review in African Research

In 2013, Creative Consulting & Development Works was appointed by an international donor to evaluate the achievements and impact of ethics activities employed in 75 ethics programmes across sub-Saharan Africa. The evaluation led to a deeper look at the impact of clinical trials in developing countries and the ethics behind such medical trials and their implementation.

The Western Cape Religious Leaders Forum (WCRLF) is the mouth-piece of the faith sector in the Western Cape. The Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation seeks to appoint a Human Resource Manager, based in Cape Town.

The person will manage the full human resource management function for the organisation. This is an exciting two-year fixed term renewable, contract position.

FUNDISA in a nonprofit organisation established to be a unified platform to pursue excellence in nursing scholarship at Universities in South Africa. The aim of FUNDISA is to promote University nursing practice, research and education in collaboration with other stakeholders. In so doing, FUNDISA aims to strengthen University education for nurses in South Africa and to represent the collective concerns of University Schools of Nursing at national and international level, in order to further the provision of quality health care.
