Free Wi-Fi at South African Taxis

The South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO) has announced that it will be providing free wi-fi to commuters in taxis and around taxi ranks.

According to reports, while the project has been spearheaded by the taxi association, it is being implemented through a collaboration between Telkom.

Telkom will be providing the connections and Wi-Taxi South Africa will be responsible for the infrastructure.

SA Urged to End Problems Facing Rail Commuters

Advocacy group, Public Transport Voice is calling on the minister of transport to intervene and help solve problems faced by The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) and Metrorail commuters across the country.

The organisation says that the public transport system is vastly unequal to such an extent that some people are losing their jobs, students miss exams, and people generally miss their appointments, among others.

Time to Listen to the Woman and Not the Clothes

The taxis would not stop honking as the young lady walked across the road with an air of confidence. She was indeed looking great in a jaw-dropping outfit, but her confidence seemed shattered by the nasty statements, insults and jeers that bombarded her from the taxi drivers. As she ran into one of the many cars, it seemed as if she was forced there, unable to endure more disapproval from the taxi drivers and the commuters within them.
