Endangered Wildlife Trust: Threatened Amphibian Programme Field Officer

The Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) is one of the largest biodiversity conservation NGOs in southern Africa.

EWT seeks to appoint a Threatened Amphibian Programme Field Officer, based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

The Field Office will oversee alien clearing and wetland rehabilitation together with other general Threatened Amphibian Programme operational requirements.

Reporting line: Threatened Amphibian Programme (TAP) Manager.

The Endangered Wildlife Trust and the International Crane Foundation, aims to have stable wild populations of the four threatened crane species resident to sub-Saharan Africa, with a strategic focus on safeguarding the two sub-species of each of the crowned crane species and the natural geographic range of Wattled and Blue Cranes.

The EWT seeks to appoint a Field Officer - African Crane Conservation Programme (ACCP).

This post includes the implementation of the Modderfontein Nature Reserve Management Plan and the integration of this reserve into the broader conservation objectives and opportunities for Gauteng and its residents.
