South African National AIDS Council: Administrator

SANAC leads South Africa’s response to the national HIV/AIDS and TB epidemics. SANAC is building a dynamic team that can facilitate SANAC’s effective leadership of the national response.

SANAC seeks to appoint a Administrator, based in Pretoria.

The succesful candidate will be part of the NSP Implementation unit based.

This is a three-year performance based contract position, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

Thuggery of Participation too Much?

For over eight years, I have volunteered, worked for and worked with a number of non-governmental organisations (NGOs). As such, I truly understand the value of a strong civil society, as it does have a very important role to play in the creation of positive change. I have also however had to disengage from some organisations because I have strongly felt that they play a part in further 'disempowering' the marginalised.
