CIVICUS: Senior Communication Officer

CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation is one of the leading and most diverse international civil society networks, with members and partners in more than 100 countries and a staff of 35 people from over 20 countries. CIVICUS implements a range of programmatic activities focusing on strengthening civil society and its role in governance and development worldwide. It also serves as a convener of global civil society leaders through its annual World Assembly.

CIVICUS seeks to appoint a Senior Communication Officer, based in Johannesburg.

CIVICUS: ICT Manager

CIVICUS seeks to appoint an ICT Manager, based in Johannesburg.

The person will lead, maintain and support ICT systems, solutions and services across the organisation.

CIVICUS: Impact and Evaluation Specialist

CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation is an international alliance of members and partners which constitutes an influential network of organisations at the local, national, regional and international levels, and spans the spectrum of civil society. CIVICUS has worked for nearly two decades to strengthen citizen action and civil society throughout the world, especially in areas where participatory democracy and citizens' freedom of association are threatened.  

CIVICUS seeks an Impact and Evaluation Specialist, based in Johannesburg.

Crisis Action: Director - South Africa

Crisis Action was created to design and support delivering cutting-edge collective civil society advocacy to protect civilians in situations of armed conflict. As a coordinating body we seek no public profile or media spotlight; it is the voice of the coalition that matters. We currently work on two ongoing campaigns (South Sudan/Sudan and Syria) as well as delivering emergency responses to quick onset crises (at present Central African Republic). We have offices across major decision-making centres: New York, Cairo, Nairobi, Washington, Brussels, London, Paris, and Berlin.

Collective Leadership Institute: Internship

The Collective Leadership Institute (CLI) is an international non-profit organisation based in Germany (Potsdam) and South Africa (Cape Town), founded in 2005. As an independent initiative, CLI supports stakeholders from the private sector, the public sector and civil society in creating and implementing collaborative change initiatives for innovative and sustainable solutions to global, societal and local challenges.

CLI seeks to appoint an intern, based in Cape Town.

The internship will be for a period of three months, beginning 17 February or soon thereafter.

Collective Leadership Institute: Senior Project Manager

The Collective Leadership Institute (CLI), founded in 2005, is an international nonprofit organisation based in Potsdam, Germany and Cape Town, South Africa. CLI supports stakeholders from the private sector, the public sector, and civil society in collaboratively designing and implementing innovative and sustainable solutions intended to address societal challenges at both a local and global scale.
