White Ribbon South Africa: Freelance Executive Assistant

The White Ribbon Campaign is the largest male led effort against gender-based violence, with activities in over 65 countries. It is based on the premise that most men are good and that good men abhor violence. The campaign also believes in the capacity of the individual to change and effect change in others.

White Ribbon South Africa seeks to appoint a Freelance Executive Assistant, based in Pretoria.

The successful candidate will work hand-in-hand with the Director, providing support in a wide range of administrative functions.

HSF Paints the Town Red for Healthier Hearts this Valentine’s Day

This February, the Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa (HSF) is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a difference with its Dress Red campaign to raise awareness of the risks of heart disease and stroke for women and children. Funds raised will go towards combating heart disease and stroke in various communities around South Africa.

South African History Archive: Internship - Freedom of Information Programme

The South African History Archive (SAHA) is an independent human rights archive committed to documenting and raising awareness of past struggles against apartheid, as well as ongoing struggles in the making of democracy in South Africa. In line with this central mission, the Freedom of Information Programme (FOIP) at SAHA is dedicated to using South Africa's Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA) to extend the boundaries of access to information in South Africa.

SAHA seeks to appoint two Interns, based in Constitution Hill Johannesburg.

Treatment Action Campaign: Researcher

The Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) engages in monitoring, advocacy and campaigning within the health system to ensure that every person with HIV and/or tuberculosis (TB) has access to quality comprehensive prevention, treatment, care and support services to live a healthy life. With members in more than 170 branches located across seven provinces, and offices with staff in each key province, TAC is a social movement campaigning to bring about improved policy and implementation in the public sector at national, provincial and local level.

TAC seeks to appoint a Bookkeeper, based at the National Office, Cape Town.
