Tshwane SPCA: General Manager

The Tshwane Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is a nonprofit organisation responsible for the welfare of animals in the Tshwane Metro in terms of the SPCA Act 169 of 1993.

The Tshwane SPCA seeks to appoint a General Manager, based in Waltloo, Pretoria.

This is a full-time employment contract.

Responsibilities:

Mdzananda Animal Clinic: Executive Director

The Mdzananda Animal Clinic is the only permanent, nonprofit veterinary council, animal clinic in Khayelitsha, a township area just outside Cape Town, South Africa, home to more than a million people.
 
Mdzananda Animal Clinic was founded in 1996 in response to the need to provide veterinary care to a fast growing community that had no access to help for their animals. Today the clinic serves up to 1000 animals per month through consultations, surgery, hospitalisation, x-rays and mobile clinics for sick and injured animals, primarily dogs and cats.
 

Tshwane SPCA: Fundraiser

The Tshwane SPCA is a registered NGO with branches in Waltoo and Centurion. We are currently looking for a qualified bookkeeper to join our team.

The Tshwane SPCA seeks to appoint a a highly skilled and versatile Fundraiser to commence work as soon as possible at the Waltloo branch of the Tshwane SPCA, Pretoria.

The ideal candidate will be required to support the manager in all aspects of fundraising and public relations for the Tshwane SPCA.

The organisation mission is to prevent indiscriminate breeding, transmissible disease and human-inflicted cruelty in domestic animals via sterilisation, vaccination, and education.

To date, the clinic serves up to 1000 animals per month through consultations, surgery, hospitalization, x-rays and mobile clinics for sick and injured animals, primarily dogs and cats.

Mdzananda Animal Clinic seeks to appoint an enthusiastic motivated Veterinary Nurse, based in an animal clinic, Khayelitsha, Western Cape.
