The Individual will be responsible for upholding the brand identity and consistency for Common Good and its various programmatic sub-brands: Sikunye (Early Life), Education and The Zanokhanyo Network (Employment). You will work in a tight-knit Communications team alongside other creatives, and in collaboration with multi-disciplinary professionals across our programmes.
WaterAid is looking for an energetic funding/business development coordinator to help us secure significant multi-year funding from a diverse portfolio of institutional and private donors and through the WaterAid Federation. The coordinator will help the Regional Funding Manager (Southern Africa) based in Lusaka, to cultivate donors and strategic partnerships in the region, as well as leveraging support and funding from the various WaterAid affiliate member offices.
We are looking for a motivated, driven and experienced Resource Developer / Fundraiser who has a passion for social justice with a strong willingness to contribute towards positive impact in our organisation. The purpose of this role is to raise and secure funds for Common Good’s work across each initiative, giving strategic input into the overall fundraising plan, executing the fundraising plan, developing and nurturing institutional and individual donor relationships, identifying and cultivating prospective donors, and regularly meeting or surpassing fundraising targets.

Ikasi Youth is a non-profit organisation that started in the Imizamo Yethu township in Cape Town in 2013. Through their project in Imizamo Yethu they run leadership and life skills programmes for youth and provide them with academic support. They also partner with, train and mentor youth organisations to offer their leadership programme to youth in their communities. Ikasi Youth programmes equip youth to take positive leadership in their lives, relationships, communities and ultimately South Africa. It also works towards reducing school dropout rates and increase youth employability.
