info4africa is a national data collection agency, specialising in the fields of health, wellbeing and development. As a self-funded Centre of the School of Applied Human Sciences, College of Humanities, University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), info4africa was formerly known at the Centre for HIV/AIDS Networking (HIVAN), which was established in 2001.

info4africa has a long history of working in the field of HIV, AIDS and TB. Our focus has expanded and matured over the past decade such that our database, wider networking and capacity building activities broadly reflect service provision in health, wellbeing and development in South Africa.
info4africa’s defining strength is our ability to collate, maintain and quality assure data. We are currently engaged in data collection projects for a variety of local, national and international agencies. We believe in collating and sharing information for public good.
In addition to data collection and directory production, we facilitate free networking and capacity building forums for the faith-based, social welfare, non-government and wider practitioner community in KwaZulu-Natal.
