FaceApp has created privacy panic among internet users amid speculation that it can see and upload all your photo. That is not true. However, we need to think twice before downloading any new app. Think about the permission we allow any artificial intelligence to access our information in the name of ease of service or luxurious life.
“Social media companies assure you that your information is protected, even if your data is sold to marketing companies, since marketers shouldn’t be able to identify you," warns local investigative journalist Heidi Swart.
